The Solo-Performance Mach-X kit is engineered for the 6.2L V8 manual Camaro. This kit uses 2.5? mandrel-bent T-409 stainless steel pipes with our T-304 stainless steel Mach-X muffler. The muffler was designed and engineered differently than most other mufflers. It is an X style muffler.
The inner compartment (not the flow thru X but the side compartments) is split into four different chambers, each with ceramic fiber and stainless steel wool packing. It is a true X design and creates a low pressure system, while the four side chambers ensure that the packing wont break apart and change the sound and efficiency over the years.
Note:Acoustically tuned for the Camaro with a Manual transmission.
